The site visit to Południe Park is over!
We had a fantastic meeting with residents at the site of the future "Południe Park" Thank you for your numerous attendance! Neighbors from the immediate area and residents from other parts of Włocławek showed up. We are pleased that so many of you care about our shared surroundings and the places where we can spend time together.
The project was co-financed by the Swiss Funds supporting the reduction of economic and social inequalities in the European Union and the state budget.
We reviewed the plans for the new park together. The idea for developing this area was submitted to the Włocławek Participatory Budget. You cast 1,685 votes for it! We have prepared this investment exactly as the project's author envisioned. Construction is starting soon.
We want to dispel your concerns immediately: we will not cut down a single tree on site. Instead, we will plant over 1,000 new plants on the nearly hectare plot. Trees, shrubs, perennials, and ornamental grasses will be planted there.
Our meeting was also a great opportunity for neighborly conversations. Some participants saw each other for the first time in many years, even though they live right next door to each other. It seems that Południe Park is already bringing people together and renewing relationships.
